Frequently Asked Questions

Our event is free.  Parking is $5/car.

Parking is dependent on weather.  Our primary parking is in local fields.  If we should have weather prior to or during the festival, that could force us to use our secondary parking option.  Secondary parking is located along the roadside. Parking in the fields will cost $5/car.  Alternative routes or parking instructions in case of emergency/weather conditions are located publicized on our Facebook page during the festival.

Yes we do offer trams/shuttles in our parking areas. There is no shuttles inside the festival. Be prepared to walk.

Yes we offer handicap parking.  It is first come first serve basis.  Just notify the parkers when you get into the parking area and they can guide you to the location. 

Leaving the festival and returning is very difficult and time consuming.  If you do need to leave, you will be required to use the public route in and out of the festival.  Generally this takes hours to accomplish.  

No we do not provide wheelchairs or scooters.  Please bring your own. 

Many of the booths will hold items for you if they are larger items.  When you are ready to leave, we do have a few carts to get large items to your vehicle. 

No we are rain or shine.

Dogs are permitted.  We request ALL dogs to be on short leashes.  And please pick up your doggies messes.  No one wants to step in that mess.  

The closest lodging (hotel/motel) are in Jeff City and Columbia.  There is no areas for camping in Hartsburg during the festival.  

The committee, itself, does not provide an ATM at the Festival. However, there is one located in the Hartsburg Hitching Post. The other closest ATM’s are in Ashland. Please be advised to bring cash, as some vendors do not take debit/credit cards and the closets ATM in Hartsburg usually gets so much activity that it cannot be relied upon to have money available at all times during the festival. 

No we don’t have ice available for purchase.
