Hartsburg Pumpkin Festival Events

Even though the Hartsburg Pumpkin Festival is an event in itself, we do host other activities during the festival.

Some of these include an annual parade, shows, and musical performances.

2023 events are as follows:

Saturday October 14th at 9am: Kickoff Parade begins right after the crowning ceremony

If you would like to participate in this years parade, please click on the parade tab for more information.

The parade route starts on south 2nd street at the Katy Trail head. It then goes north to E Main Street where it turns left.  The parade then travels west until 1st street where it makes another left to head south. Sunday, October 15th from 10:15a-1215p: Joe Fry the guitar guy (Main Stage)

From Joe Fry the guitar guy

"My desire is to make every show one you'll remember"

If you like listening to some great classic tunes performed with acoustic guitar and great vocals! To be able to come together with friends and family and communicate without screaming at one another. You've come to the right place. After years of playing in many bands and different genres of music I've put together a show that creates a atmosphere that is conversation friendly.  I play many different venues from large Corporate parties to your local corner bars.  Sometimes a full band can be a little too loud in a smaller venue. Considered a naturalist because I prefer to perform without the use of what I consider fake reproductions of auto tuned vocal machines that make you sound like a singer even if you can't sing.  I also dislike the backing track approach that carry the sound of a whole band thanks to technology.  If you want a full band I can recommend one for you.  My shows are very intimate like It's your own private performance.

With music comes power, the power of expression, the power to hurt, the power to heal, the power to reach hearts, the power to break them, And the power to mend them again.

When you hear a certain song that really touches your heart, it can bring forth memories from the past.  Almost like magic these memories can make a persons day....they can inspire feelings deep in a persons heart.

I perform my music from my heart to yours. As the music just naturally flows through my soul I feel each song I perform as I interpret it adding my own personal touch without losing the original feel of the song. To experience such real authentic raw emotion from a performer is rare and somewhat magical. Book me today and experience the magic for yourself. I promise you won't be disappointed.
